            First to buy Nigerian Crude oil priced on yield basis

            Buyer of the two first cargoes of Syrian Light Crude oil

Exclusive buyer of LPG out of Nigeria and sole seller of such to the African West Coast

In the seventies :

First to lift oil products from Petromin processing contract with Shell at Lavera (France).

Pioneer purchaser of Syrian Souedie Crude oil

In 1974, Carbonaphata sales to Costal States a VLCC at a record price of 43$ per barrel

In the sixities :

First to move oil derivatives from the Caspian Sea to the US East Coast.
