Hubert Barbellion was born in 1952, and is a graduate of IMAC. He began his career in 1974 as an IT engineer, first at
Sogeb and then at Assurances Continentales. He became a Manager at the Société Française de Recours, and then
its corporate secretary in Monaco in 1981. He was appointed Chairman and CEO of the Lloyd’s of London Association of
French Underwriters in 1986. In 1992, he was named Vice President, Industrial Operations for the BEG
Group. In 2000, he became Executive Vice President of France Citévision, and he joined Bouygues Construction on
September 1, 2006 as Business Development and External Relations Director.
